Is there any flexibility, even a centimeter, regarding the placement of the implanted post that sticks out thru the skin? I am concerned whether the posts placement would no longer allow me to wear a cap or would force me to get different eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses. I thought I have read of these problems being realized after the operation rather than before...and then it was too late. When I drive around in my Wrangler with the top down, I alwaya wear a baseball type of cap due to the sun. I also wear a cap or hat any other time Im out in the sun. Plus, I wear eyeglasses all day long although I have prescription sunglasses for sunny days while outside or driving. I will take this up with my surgeon but was wondering if anyone else has also voiced these concerns before their surgery.
