Is there any need to further combat terrorism overseas when it is no longer safe to send our children to school or take our family to the movies without worrying about their safety? Terrorism is no longer a singular entity that is bred in a Middle Eastern Al-Qaeda camp. It is American citizens, predominantly white, who go to schools to slaughter children; it is an old man who feels it necessary to bring a gun to a theater, and then feels it reasonable to fatally shoot another man over an argument in which the instigator was the old man, and the departeds biggest act of aggression was throwing popcorn. Then more citizens arm themselves to combat these rising occurrences of violence, which in turn leads to more opportunities for someone inadequate in training or judgement to needlessly take the life of another. Only in the minds of its citizens is America the greatest country in the world.
