Is this a logical statement: just be thankful you werent born into a worse life Given that everyones existence is dependent upon a very specific set of events that occurred i.e. their parents meeting at a specific time and place and each of their parents decisions which led to their conception it would only be logical to say that it was lucky they exist at all but it is impossible for them to have been born into a worse life because any difference in the specific chain of events leading to their conception would have resulted in a different person being born. For example I could not have been born into a poor African family. It could never have happened. I could only have been born into the privileged circumstances I enjoy. Your thoughts?
