Is voting a method to submit to totalitarianism? So, 75% of the American population have doubts and questions about 9/11 - so what is a critical mass... 80% 90% 110% 200% 500% ? As you can see, a critical mass is not the issue. Even if every person in the world were to question 9/11 would it then be investigated? I doubt it. And so why is this? If we look at modern civilization it is not a continuation, but like alternating current, proceeds in waves with peaks and troughs. We are at a peak of civilization at the moment approaching an apex from which a rather abrupt descent will begin at a certain point. Though these peaks and troughs have been often characterized by either heights of civilization or total war, we have never had such a peak as we have now and the implication is that we have not seen the kind of trough that can appear. How does this impact the idea of the lack of interest in our totalitarian rulers who far from realizing they are totalitarian but believe that they are either obeying the will of God or serving mankind? If you have a critical mass of people then it appears pretty obvious that the critical mass or the masses are controlled by the few at the top... and this is a standardized and socially accepted doctrine which we mask as democracy even if that democracy is actually a hideous totalitarian regime masking as democracy. And so if we accept the idea of voting, we accept totalitarianism - because the root of it is not in the ideals of government, but in the mechanism of being catapulted from a person working in a field, a factory, sailing as an adventurer, all of whom are controlled by the catapulted human who has achieved his status by psychologically influencing other humans who only count in so far as they vote for a particular person who can then control not only those who supported him by voting, but all people under the jurisdiction to which he or she is assigned.
