Is your 401 k or other money safe? maybe not! I have two friends at the upper level in the banking industry that tell me an alarming rate of people are withdrawing 90 % of their money out of the bank. neither have seen so many people taking out their money. you currently have to fill out a ctr for drawing out 10,000.00 or more. it is getting ready to be an involved process to get your money out. With all the rumors of a full blown economic collapse and the government continuously loosing credibility, im not so sure your money is safe. I know it is a little safer in a credit union rather than a large bank because they are one level removed from federal reserve. looks like it is a real possibility of waking up one morning just like in the 20s and 30s and be broke. you dont even have to have money in high risk stock. you can loose it even in guaranteed return investment. I dont put anything past the government. they could say there was a cyber attack or any stupid thing they wanted to. what could you do about it? im not telling anyone to withdraw their money but it wouldnt hurt to do a little research.
