Isa 64:6 But we are ((all)) as an unclean thing, and ((all)) our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we ((all)) do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Rom 3:23 For ((all)) have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Im not justifying sin in any form or fashion. As Pastors there are times we have to deal with sin in the church and individual people, I understand this, but I also think its important to remind ourselves we all have been there a time or two our selves, and most likely we ourselves will have a few more personal encounters with our own failures in this flesh before its through. Jesus gave us clear instructions what to do when we have to judge and help a Brother/ Sister out of their sinful mess. Jesus speaking here. Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brothers eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, (((First))) cast out the beam out of thine own eye; ((And then)) shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye. When we do spiritual surgery on someone, we need to be certain the beams out of our own eye.. Then the surgery by the help of The Lord will have a greater chance of success. Be encouraged. The view from my chair.
