Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife for she was barren & the Lord answered his prayer & Rebekah became pregnant. The children struggled together within her, & she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. The Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb; & 2 kinds of people from you will be separated; & the one shall be stronger than the other; & the older shall serve the younger...What does this mean to our present life? Rebekah (like us) was barren, she inherited death (sin, curse) in her womb. When she accepted Isaac (shadow of Jesus) in her life, He became her intercessor (Savior) & because of Jesus sacrifice she was able to bear fruit (grow spiritually, spreading the good news of Salvation). It takes her 20 years to wait for God wants her to strengthen her faith, to have patience more & to be closer to her husband same as to Him through continuous prayer/ inquiry mostly in her time of pain & struggle...The twins in her womb w/c is Esau (represents flesh, sinful nature) & Jacob (grace from God, saved) battles inside her, but the younger (new nature, Jacob) will always rule the old nature for Jesus already won that battle for us…Everyone is entitled for the Salvation that Jesus freely gave, with double blessedness of yielding God’s pleasure, we can experience true joy & peace incomparable...Let Jesus deal with your battle so you could claim your benefits. Accept Him now. …IYF, Good News Mission…
