Isaiah 26:4-6 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord - TopicsExpress

Isaiah 26:4-6 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal. He humbles those who dwell on high, he lays the lofty city low; he levels it to the ground and casts it down to the dust. Feet trample it down— the feet of the oppressed, the footsteps of the poor. The Lord brings hope to the poor and oppressed, and He lifts up those in need. In Matthew 9:11-13, Jesus said, “When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, ‘Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?’ On hearing this, Jesus said, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.’” Jesus is not a far off, distant Savior. He chose to be in the midst of the sick, readily available to them, so that they would have hope and life. Know today that He is able to reach you, He wants you to reach for Him, and that He is strong enough to deliver you from anything. You have a sure hope in the Lord!
