Ishova and Grechishnikova 2 years, by Alfons Juck, EME News MOSCOW (RUS): Two Russian long distance runners have got 2-year bans from anti-doping commission of All-Russian athletics federation based on abnormal blood measures. London Olympian from Mordovia Yelizaveta Grechishnikova is banned till October 15, 2015 and all her results from August 18, 2009 were deleted (including Barcelona 6th place at 5000 m European Championships 2010 or 14th place from Daegu Worlds 2011 and 19th place at Olympic Games 2012 in the 10 000 m). Second is national Russian medalist at 5000m Yekaterina Ishova who was banned from October 23, 2013 and all her results from July 12, 2011 were cancelled. That is including her high quality 3:59.89 PB at the 1500 m, also 4th place at Helsinki European Championships 2012 and bronze from World University Games 2011 in Shenzhen (going now to German Denise Krebs as fourth placer Yevgeniya Arzhakova was also banned). Ishova will also need to return her silver medal from European U23 Championships in Ostrava in the 5000 m. Promoted will be Briton Stevie Stockton to silver and French Clemence Calvin to bronze.
