Islaamic History The descent of Hadhrat Isa (AS) from the heavens Hadhrat Isa (AS) is alive in the heavens and will descend back to earth close to the Day of Qiyaamah. He will descend on the eastern minaret of the Jaami Masjid in Damascus at the time of Asr with the support of two angels. At that time, Imaam Mahdi رحمه الله shall be arranging the rows of salaah for the Asr salaah in the Masjid. Hadhrat Isa (AS) will come down the minaret using the staircase and then perform the salaah behind Imaam Mahdi رحمه الله. He will destroy crosses to eliminate the false belief that he had been crucified to atone for the sins of mankind. He will also have all pigs killed. He will then lead an army to fight Dajjaal, who will be in a siege of Baytul Muqaddas at the time. Seeing Hadhrat Isa (AS) arrive, Dajjaal will flee to a place called Baab Ludd, where Hadhrat Isa (AS) will finally kill him. Hadhrat Isa (AS) will then rule the people with justice and such peace and blessings will prevail during this time that even the sheep and wolves would be able to drink from the same watering place without fear of being attacked. Hadhrat Isa (AS) will live by the Shariah of Hadhrat Muhammad (SAW), will marry and even have children. He will live for approximately 40 years and when he passes away, he will be bathed and shrouded according to the Shariah of Islaam and buried by the side of Rasulullaah (SAW) in Madinah.
