Islam, was slavery truly abolished? Why is it people refuse to believe it wasnt? People seriously argue with you on their way to work. The irony huh? 13th Amendment Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for a crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. [its no longer involuntary, it has changed from a physical slavery condition into a Mental one] What?!?! But?!? How can that be a law when the constitution give freedom to life and liberty? [Well, the constitution does not give Rights, it only reserves Rights] So how did congress pass this law? [Well, truth is, its not Law, and was never ratified because it does not pertain to natural living beings, only person(s) the reason it says appropriate legislation. Marbury v. Madison, 1803 All law repugnant to the Constitution is void] Dred Scott v. Sandford, 1857 The Constitution does not consider slaves to be U.S. citizens. Rather, they are constitutionally protected property of their masters. Arent Blacks Second Class citizens? Hmm!? Second Class citizen: An informal term used to describe a person who is systematically discriminated against within a state or other political jurisdictions. Only corporations/slaves pay taxes [No taxation without representation] Peace & Love
