Islamic Bangladesh where Hindus are Endangered, Handmade bomb hurled at office building of Asst High Commission of India in Chittagong city, Sunday evening. Terror at 7:15pm in the midst of the nationwide 84-hour strike called in by the BNP-led opposition 18-party alliance. Bomb hit the outer boundary wall of the building, police said. No one was inside the office at that time. Khulshi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mainul Islam Bhuiyan said the matter is being “considered seriously.” Crude bomb was also hurled targeting the residence of Metropolitan Sessions Judge SM Mojibur Rahman around 7:45pm, Panchlaish Police Station Officer-in-Charge Azizur Rahman said. Locals said one crude bomb exploded near the house of lawmaker Moinuddin Khan Badalin Chandgaon area at around 8pm, but police denied the matter. Several blasts took place through Kajir Dewri, Alangkar, WASA, GEC, Tiger pass, Ambagan, AK Khan, City Gate and others places after evening, local and police sources said. Chittagong Metropolitan Police Addl Commissioner Banaz Kumar Majumder said the blasts were aimed to create panic through the city.He suspects the act to have been committed by hartal supporters.
