Isnt it time to restore the draft so that the likelihood of your serving in the armed forces is directly proportionate to the amount of wealth that is being protected by those same armed forces? That does assume, of course, that this is all about freedom, liberty, and justice (and property!!!). OK, lets assume that the top 1% have accumulated the largest percentage stake in wealth during the time that precipitated our need to embed our defense contractors in this newest of wars. That means, that families of the top 1% should shoulder 95% of the responsibility for protecting their wealth while the remaining 5% burden would be shouldered by the remaining 99% of Americans. Yeah, I think thats fair, dont you?!
