Israel in the Old Testament is a type of the Church. As Israel came through the wilderness, they were required to set up the tabernacle everywhere the Lord commanded them to stop. It took a great deal of time and effort to set up the tabernacle. This portable church was with the Israelites everywhere, telling me that a church setting is very important to God - where His people meet to worship Him and hear His Word. The Body of Christ Sunday, Jan 26, 8:30 & 10:15 am.
