Israel is as legitimate as any other country in the Middle east region is. Sir Mark Sykes signed the Sykes-Picot agreement on Asia Minor in 1916. The British mandate of Palestine came into existence in 1920. Israel was granted by the UN resolution of 1948. I mean none of the so-called Muslim countries of today existed before 1922, that includes Saudi Arabia. All of them owe their political geographical identity to the British mostly, some to the Russians/French/Germans etc that includes Pakistan. What are the Arabs fighting a war with Israel for? When they themselves had nothing defining their territory other than falling back in history and claiming various Sultanates from the Iberian peninsula called Andalus(Spain) to another peninsular subcontinent called Hind(India)...........! Since when in Human empire building have borders been constant? One chap kicks out another, somebody else came along and kicked him out in turn. The problem is............ Muslims consider land once under Muslim control no matter what/who was before and what/who has been after.......they will perpetually keep demanding it as their own. There are no empires any more, nor are there any Sultanate. Muslim Ummah need to wake up from their Khalifa/Khalafate dream and learn to make and live in peace.
