Israel is literally sitting on one of the largest gas reserves, while Europe is being held political hostage to Russias hydrocarbon imports. Why doesnt Israel encourage further development with Europe in return for below market rates of gas. I would think that Isreal would want to take full advantage of any opportunity to enhance and seal economic ties and relationships with the EU and US. The irony of it all, Israel selling natural gas to some Arab countries. Anyway, Hamas and the Hizzbillies are probably looking for longer range rockets as we speak. What genius believes the Hashemites will be around in fifteen years?
