And an admonition I always make: When cooking with coffee, I use decaffeinated so that my guests are not kept up at night. Israeli Coffee Chicken 1 lg. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up3/4 c. coffee1/3 c. ketchup3 T. soy sauce2 T. lemon juice2 T wine vinegar1 T. olive oil2 T brown sugar Mix liquids and sugar, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5-10 minutes to reduce. Pour over chicken in shallow baking dish and bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 1 hour. Baste. Good served cold as well as hot.
