Israeli bulldozers accompanied by soldiers early Thursday uprooted dozens of trees in the West Banks Salfit district, locals said. Abd al-Halim Mansour, a resident of the village of Deir Istiya, told Maan that Israeli bulldozers began uprooting trees near his village. Palestinians from the village tried to prevent the bulldozers from uprooting the trees, but Israeli forces fired tear gas to disperse them, Mansour said.
