Israeli female soldier assaults Palestinian school girl in Al-Khalil AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- A female Israeli soldier physically assaulted in a new recent incident a Palestinian school girl from Al-Khalil city as she was en route to her school. The school girl, Asil Jaber, was walking along with other female students when the soldier intercepted them at a checkpoint in the Old City of Al-Khali and prevented them from getting to their school. As a result, Asil and the other students had to take another road to get to their school, but upon their return to their homes, the female soldier ambushed them and captured her. Then, the soldier beat her with a firearm in her feet and chest and threatened to kill her if she captured her once again. What happened to this school girl was one of many Israeli violations committed systematically against the Palestinian children in the city. The school children are exposed on a daily basis to harassment by Israeli soldiers in Al-Khalil, which has caused many of them to suffer from severe trauma.
