Israeli students react to Five Broken Cameras. This is intended to show how Israelis do not live in a vacuum regarding this conflict... being an Israeli does not by default put one on a certain side of the debate. It is important to see that there really are people (people more or less our age, too) struggling internally to reconcile their patriotism with their acknowledgement of serious abuses. The video also shows how this struggle takes center stage for kids up for mandatory military service - kids who will be thrust onto one side of a conflict about which they are conflicted - and how they react to the perceived propaganda intended to facilitate their committal to one side of the debate.
