Issue No. 1 with TIF: The taxpayers are obligated to provide services, garbage, road maintenance, emergency services, with NO additional tax revenue for 20 years, because the additional tax increment is paid to the developers for 20 years with interest. So, the golf course resort subdivision is subsidized by the barely getting by families, and working class citizens of Hamilton County Why are we obligated to fund this golf course neighborhood for 20 years? A judge says we arent, but these greedy bastards will appeal. Issue No. 2 with TIF: Tax Incremental Financing was developed as an incentive for developers to redevelop blighted and impoverished urban areas. Is the Black Creek Golf Course Residential Subdivision a blighted area? Former Councilwoman Deborah Scott says Black Creek TIF is bling not blight. Issue No. 3 with TIF: The brokers of the bonds are liars and thieves and they have defrauded the public. Contact your Federal Representative,, FBI, Dept of Justice and ask for an immediate investigation regarding the fraud that has occurred, and why the developers claimed $9 million for a road that does not cost $9 million.
