Issued at: 5:00 p.m. 07 July 2014 Valid until: 5:00 p.m. 14 July 2014 At 4:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon FLORITA was located at 500 km east northeast of Basco, Batanes (22.0ºN, 127.0ºE). It is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow morning. However, enhanced Southwest Monsoon will bring rains over Western Visayas, MIMAROPA and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite and Batangas. Similarly, Southwest Monsoon will bring occasional rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas. Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. This weather scenario will persist until Tuesday (July 8). Occasional rains is still expected over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite and Batangas on Wednesday (July 9) while the rest of the country have improved weather condition apart from localized rainshowers or thunderstorms. By Thursday (July 10), light to moderate rains associated with the Southwest Monsoon will continue to affect the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy apart from isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Troughout the rest of the outlook period (July 11-14 ), the whole country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated ranshowers or thunderstorms.
