Issues of special education, especially those where harm has been alleged and documented, should not be kept out from the eyes of parents who fund and support public schools. Alpine Districts motion to exclude media (and perhaps others) from the Hearing room in the Tenbrink v. Alpine Case smacks of paternalistic interference with the publics right to know about what is happening inside our public schools.
