It absolutely blows my mind to think back to this time last year... Just like tomorrow, it was the first day back to school for the kids and I was supposed to start my student teaching at WPES. Instead, I was at Yadkin Valley Gastroenterology having a procedure done because of all the tummy troubles I had been having. I cried my eyes out until they put me to sleep because I knew where I was supposed to be. I wanted to be in the classroom! I ended up starting the Monday after the kids went back, and it was one of the best experiences of my life! We never knew if we were leaving early, coming in late, or not coming at all! It kept me on my toes, but I had the most fun! It just baffles me to know that a few short months after that time, I signed my first contract and I had my very own classroom! Ive enjoyed my break, even though weve not had the best health in our house with colds and then J having the flu, but it was fun nonetheless. Im looking forward to seeing my kiddos tomorrow!
