It all started as a side plan (a bigger plan is in the works) to create a Christmas song for Iloilo City in the last week of November. Nothing serious and its all teasing from the rest of us. But when a co-producer told me: yeah, lets do this, we can do this... something popped in my head that feels like a reawakening of passion. Isnt it too late already? I told myself. But the next thing that took place after we look at each other - we draft the lyrics, called another co-producer for confirmation and the music composer said yes, he said well give him 2-3 days to create the melody. Then voices responded to the call of passion, recording session and then, video shoot. Who would have thought that a simple goal to express the meaning of Christmas turned out to be the years biggest if not most inspiring Ilonggo Music Project capable of making a mark in the hearts of people in the city of passion.
