It all started with Canadian Pacific Airlines, YVRAPCP, April 24, 1969. At the time of joining, we became members of the Brotherhood of Airline Clerks aka BRAC.(lapel pin). Then it became CPAir (name tag). Then, CPAir Holidays was incorporated to do our charter work (CPAir Holidays pin). CPAir also purchased DC10-20’s (DC10 pins). Everything was going okay until Pacific Western (PWA) purchased CPAir (Pacific Western pin). Then, Pacific Western and American Airlines formed Canadian Airlines (Canadian Airlines Name Tag). At this time, I was transferred to YYCAPCP from Victoria, BC (Save The Orange in Victoria). This campaign failed and I commuted from Victoria, BC to Calgary, AB from 1980-1994. I became an executive of the Calgary Interline Club (pin attached). Do you remember the events/parties that we organized at YYCAP? Canadian Airlines International Ltd. became the Official Canadian Airline for the 1988 Olympics (pin attached). I took an early retirement buyout package in 1994 and really enjoyed my long career with Canadian Pacific Airlines, CPAir and Canadian Airlines International Ltd. I retired prior to the Air Canada merger. I do hope that you enjoy the pins. I also have all of my anniversary pins, Gold Cross Pens and Retirement Watch.
