It always amazes me how God can make even the most difficult times so beautiful. My brother in law was laid to rest today and the support from our family and friends has just been overwhelming. After a sweet memorial service he was led by dedicated men and women from law enforcement, the Pontotoc Fire Dept, and Myra, the Pink Heels fire truck named after his sister, to his bodys final resting place. As we followed the casket to the grave in rain that matched the tears that continued to fall, I was thinking about the song go rest high on that mountain that had played during the service, and how peaceful and quiet it was around the cemetery. While we filed in under the tent, about 25 beautiful horses who were apparently afraid of the storm and all the vehicles galloped together just behind the fence to create a show that it seemed God had orchestrated just for us. What a precious display of power, just as the power HE has in our lives. Please continue to pray for my sister, Pam White and their boys and families over the coming weeks and months. Rex will be missed so much!
