It always makes me laugh when some producers suddenly begin to produce these pathetic bigroom drops style tracks and defend themselves even more pathetic way Im exloring different genres, I had to do something different, Music is evolving bla bla bla. Its nothing wrong about making something different. The problem is that they always start exploring the most primitive music (and surprise... the best selling) BIGROOM House :D They can make chillout tracks, ambient, orchestral, rock, jazz literally everything. But its always that EDM thing. And what they call evolution of music? For me its rather devolution or decrease. It makes sense when youre trying to produce something more diffucult and complex, but wheres the evolution and expanding musical horizons in making the most schematic music ever? I have nothing against making any kind of music. All Im talking about is this bullshit talking about evolution of music, trying something new etc. And they call themselves open minded producers ;)
