It amazes me how many socialists, progressives, communists, fascists, etc, etc.. living in our country today, pushing for a fundamental transformation of our society to one which has failed in every nation attempted, firmly believe that their lives and freedoms will be better in such a society - despite history continually demonstrating that death and oppression are the common threads that follow such a transformation. Even the deaths of those who led the charge in the changes.
