It appears that PKR is a party that likes to promote losers to their top posts. For example, Saifuddin Nasution who came dead last in their PKR chair-throwing and kepala-bocor party elections is now made co-head of the elections committee. Despite strong lobbying and support by KETUM, Saifuddin knew he was losing so badly that he went to London during the last stages of the Deputy President elections and did not even bother campaigning anymore. And Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin lost in the supreme council contest. Therefore his loss was rewarded with a promotion to the new head of strategy - maybe because no one can do a worse job than the person who used to have that post. And speaking of the ex-Strategic Director Rafizi Ramli, he only just won the final sport in the Vice-President election after trailing for some time in 4th place. This was due to the results of the last kopek Puchong division elections held on 10 Aug 2014 - the 3rd time it was held after the first two times were cancelled due to various problems including flying chairs. In the deciding Puchong party elections, by Rafizi magically did extremely well and got a staggering 1,158 votes to edge out Xavier and get He a total of 18,887votes - just beating out Xavier Jayakumar by just 453 votes. Even in Rafizis own Kemaman cabang, he got a meager 76 votes in the re-held cabang elections - just edging out his unknown challenger by one vote - and only because two votes were disqualified because the two persons who voted against Rafizi apparently did not pay his membership fees or some crap excuse like that. And this was after the original Kemaman cabang elections were cancelled after Rafizi supporters disrupted the elections as it was known that he was losing badly. And of course, Rafizis ill-fated Kajang Move which is universally acknowledged as a failure meant that Rafizi had lost all credibility. And what does the party do to a loser like Rafizi ? Of course you promote him to the powerful position of Secretary-General. And there you have it.. A gang of losers promoted to powerful positions within the party of losers.
