It blows my mind how John Mayer has been a never-ending well of inspiration for me as a creator and as an artist for over 10 years now. And just that, but the fact that the potency of his influence hasnt diminished in any way over that period. And not just his songs, but the full body of his work. As a creator of stories and ideas, and his ability to communicate those stories and ideas musically. As a public figure, and his ability to withstand both good and bad press for over a decade without any effect on his artistic integrity. And as a man, unafraid to constantly evolve and change both in his career and in the way he approaches his life, philosophically.
