It boggles my mind that humans in the 21st Century, in supposedly the most technologically advanced civilization on the planet, will accept the writings of blood-thirsty bronze-age desert tribes as reality over their own sensory and cognitive exploratory capabilities. Even IF there is some overarching intelligence to the universe, it is abundantly clear BY EVIDENCE that intelligence set up a grand experiment with the laws of physics that made our type of life, not only possible, but inevitable. And these laws of physics which govern the formation and lives of stars and galaxies, ALSO govern the formation and lives of biological organisms such as us. But heres the rub: There IS NO objective evidence of such intelligence. So far as we know, WE are the ONLY intelligence attempting to make sense of the universe and define its reality. What is so fracking difficult to accept about this?
