It breaks my heart whenever I teach her to be responsible and knows her priorities but I have to. Im teaching her to do her homework by herself and call my attention if she dont understand or dont know what to do. I asked her to look at her school diary to check her assignments and do it accordingly. Once shes finished.. Ill check it, then she can proceed answering other homework s ibang subjects. I asked her to clean up her clutter because of kadadabog when she gets frustrated. I asked her to cleanup her bag and arrange books/ notebooks accordingly. After.. ..I asked her to sit beside me and hold her hands while talking to her.. explaining her that I can answer all her assignments, clean her clutter, fix her bag forever like what were used to para hindi n sya mahirapan ..but by doing it, im only teaching her to be irresponsible, lazy, weak and useless. I explained, she has to do it for herself. It pains me pag nahihirapan sya.. but it hurts more seeing her someday n walang alam. Upstairs, i saw her washing her face and brushing her teeth.. I was surprised too! ..Shes now watching animal atlas instead of watching a not so child friendly cartoon. Finally shes able to understand me! Nagsisink-in din ..kaya dapat, a mother should never get tired training their children. Its hard and sometimes painful but, its for the best. Im proud of you anak that your response towards my teachings is positive. Thank you Lord for guiding me and Caitlin. In return, I told her to teach me also how to be a good mother sakanya by telling me how she wants me to teach her, my tone of voice, compromise, and if what im asking her to do is wrong. Or if what im doing is wrong. like what I always tell her that no one is perfect.. people make mistakes but what is important.. you have to admit it to yourself and try your very best not to do it again ..learn from it.
