It burdens my heart to hear today that a comedian/actor who brought joy, laughter, sheer bliss, to numerous people could come to be a victim of depression. What bothers me more is that the public(including myself) would have never presumed that a man with many talents, at a young age 63, would take his own life. Unfortunately tragedies like these have become increasingly common. A human being can survive almost anything as long as he/she sees the end in sight. But depression is so insidious, and it compounds daily, that it is impossible to ever see the end. The fog is like a cage without a key. Rest in Peace, Robin Williams.
