It cant be stopped. People have this inherent need to watch the news for tragedy and then talk about how sad they are for those people and how much they are praying for them. Yet to never acknowledge that hundreds of thousands of other tragedies occur daily that just do not get reported where they can know about it and use it to show how much they care. Why do the unacknowledged tug more at my heart than those that everyone is already caring about? I guess I just naturally pull for the underdog.
