It certainly is spider season. When I walk have to be a little careful because some spiders spin a web across a sidewalk during the night. I have walked into a few webs in the back yard. You know, the ones that are large, up high, and catch you across the face. I ALWAYS panic and think the spider is pissed off and is going to jump on my face or worse yet, on my back. Suppose it crawls down my back?! However, when I take the time to look closely some of the webs are really quite spectacular. And some of the spiders are very large indeed, multi colored, and probably harmless...well, I hope so.
