It does seem passing strange that with falling revenues in Australia, and heading for recession, the government keep trumpeting the repeal of the carbon levy and the mining tax, which actually added to the bottom line (especially the mining tax post-exploration and development, that would be substantial as the profits start to flow from production). And the immense cost of offshore detention for asylum seekers. Oh, of course, thats all they have actually done ... No, to be fair, they have done quite a bit more. Theyve also killed the motor vehicle and manufacturing industries, and have lined the pockets of the wealthy with upper class welfare.
