It doesnt make sense to have a charity Beautify Malawi to clean up - TopicsExpress

It doesnt make sense to have a charity Beautify Malawi to clean up streets while your husband is in charge of a Local Government and all other ministries to clean those streets and make Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu clean. But setting up a charity to clean the environment is an admission that government and ministries of environments headed by the government are not able to do their work and clean the streets. This is collusion with the city councils and what will the money allocated for city councils do if the charity has taken up the job of government to clean streets? While the motives of the charity might be good it seems the name is not resonating well with the activities of the charity for example during the speech by 1st Lady on the launch of her charity she spoke about her town, Where I come from there were kids feeding on left overs from bins ...,,, The speech and the charity aims are parallel here, it would have been better to call it Feed Malawi if we go by the speech and Malawi is already a beautiful country so whoever suggested or gave the name to our 1st Lady was just too lazy to shop around for befitting names. We have beautiful lakes, national parks and beautiful cities so by the name of the charity Beautify Malawi which tourists will you be attracting to a country that is not yet beautiful if we go by the name ? You will end up losing tourists to neighbouring countries because you are discovering a beauty problem which has never been there to bother our tourists.
