It doesnt matter if you lost your child years ago or today, weather they were just minutes old or 80 years old to lose a child is losing apart of yourself. It changes who you are and how you think. I am not who I was before 11/16/2011, the day they told me that my child had cancer and most certainly not after 4/6/2014 the day my son was called home. I know parents that have lost their children to a illness, by their own hands, or the hands of another, it hurts and the pain never stops. Please dont say you understand unless you have lived through it. I am a part of a group that no one ever asks for. We may smile during good days but we need our family and friends to be supportive and understanding through the bad days. Its hard enough dealing with the fact that we cant have our children but its even harder doing it alone. If you love and or care about anyone going through this loss be and do what you said you would when you learned about their loss. To my friends and family that have loss your child I love you and I am still here for you as you have been for me. Jeziah mommy loves you with everything I am and I will never forget you.
