It doesnt matter who likes you if you dont like yourself. If you dont truly accept who you are then how are you going to let someone elses love in? If you see yourself as unloveable then how do you believe the love that is offered freely. This was such a hard lesson for me to learn. I had been indoctrinated in such we are worms kind of doctrine and i had a weird body, i tended to be overweight, I was extremely shy and unsure of myself. But i had to learn to love all that and be ok with who I am. i feel whole now. i dont feel like i NEED anyone to tell me I am OK. I know I am more than OK. And when you do truly celebrate who you are.. then others love can flow in freely and there is no filter there saying but you cant love me because I dont love me… all that self doubt just blocks love.. It truly does!!!
