It fascinates me to read of people whose lives are long and slow. Without a lot of events to fill time. And that is their life. I just read thirst- the desert trilogy by shulamith hareven. I understand it but I also dont. It reminds me of biography is a grizzly - wahbs life of roaming, avoiding farmers with guns, the constant low-level pain from a past gun-wound. This sensation of time different than I know it scares me and fascinates me. Today I found a hook on the beach and felt the shock of it in my salmon cheek. How rude we are to each other. The stars are bleached and heavy tonight weighing my heart down. I understand and I dont.
