It feels likes ages ago since weve had runners or even racing, but thats the way the Irish flat programme is unfortunately. We head to Dundalk tonight with two runners. Dundalks usual Friday night fare starts tonight and will take us right up to Christmas. Ningxai is a little Fast Company colt (our only one) but is drawn 13 of 14 for his debut. Thats not ideal but Im rarely too bothered about their draw on debut as they are never wound up for it and we always go out with a view to make sure they have a good initial experience and then build on that. I would expect him to take a nice tow into the race and be nearest at finish but may lack the experience to win the race. Dandyleekie had no luck at the Curragh last time and while Im looking forward to running him over 7f this is an ideal race to hopefully gain some compensation. Hes a beautiful looking colt and I hope to run him back here in a 7f listed race next start. Colins suspension is up after Sunday and he starts back riding on Monday. He hasnt really missed anything for us as we didnt partake in Listowel so hopefully we can pick up where we left off next week. HGD
