It feels overwhelming to really sit back and reflect the events of 2014. This was one of the most challenging years of my life but one of the most beautiful all in the same. We had so much heartache, fear, tears and sleeplessness nights dealing with the harsh reality of where Brooklyns health was heading. We dealt with that fear by making some of the most beautiful memories as a family that we all will cherish. We prayed and felt faithful that this grim future was NOT going to be our reality and we refused to accept it. Those prayers were answered and I feel at peace that our kids did not feel that stress but more of the love, support and positive memories that overshadowed the fear. I have had many people tell me, hope 2015 is a much better year and after looking at how amazing 2014 was, I dont know how to top it. We came, We FOUGHT, We Conquered 2014! Cheers to a Happy and HEALTHY new year!!
