It feels weird to post about something serious for a change haha, but Im fairly sure that I had a near-death experience last night. Note: All of this happened around 10-20 mins into watching Pacific Rim, but that doesnt necessarily mean that you should avoid the film. To cut a long story short, I fainted for the first time in years (I wont be going into what caused it, although the heat probably didnt help) and ended up face down in a pile of clothes. My left shoulder and knee hurt so Im guessing I fell to my left. My parents heard the bang caused by me hitting the floor, but the bathroom door was locked and it took a few minutes for them to get to me. I remember feeling light-headed and trying my best to remain conscious. After that, all I can remember is lots of images rushing through my mind - what they were, I cant remember - and then hearing my parents voices and eventually regaining consciousness. When my Dad lifted my head up from the pile of clothes, I apparently gasped for air and my hands and face were contorted. Im not one to believe in this sort of thing, but I honestly think I was close to death and my life may have actually flashed before my eyes. A moment or so longer and I might well have been. So freaky, but Im fine now.
