It finally happened...after over a year of keeping my phone dry while working with Canine Adventure, it finally fell right in at the 42nd St. rocks. I left my SD card for my camera at home so had to take pictures with my phone and as I was taking a shot of Scout and Roux tugging over a stick, they knocked it out of my hands and right into a strong current. I could have sworn that I saw it floating down stream so gave up all hope on finding it, but after a while, I look down in the water and lo and behold, it sank and got wedged between two rocks. After trying to fish it out with a stick, I eventually had to dive right in the water (up to about shoulder depth) and feel around for it. With the help of Melissa Mazula I finally found it and much to my surprise, it was still on! Obviously it wasnt operational per se, but I took it apart and put it in rice so well just see what happens. In the meantime, text me so I can have your number on my temporary phone :)
