It finally has settled in.... and its a little sad but have decided that it is going to be impossible to have our yearly holiday fest this year. My digestive system took a shit (GIGGLE). After my reconnected surgery on August 25th I managed to get an infection and ended up back in the emergency room on August 30th...I ended up in emergency surgery and was in a drug induced coma till the afternoon September 1... spent several more days in intensive care then ended up in a room... I got home last night and I just cant tell you how incredible the word HOME is!... I now have a colostomy bag on my small intestine and am healing my large intestine. Once all is healed I will be back in the hospital to have my guts rewired to work properly.. Its going to be a long road to recovery but I am ready for the challenge because of the wonderful people that are in my life. I would sit here and create a list but you know who you are and how much you mean to me... the help, support and just pure love I have experienced is overwhelming. Thank you all for everything ... you have set the bar so high on family/friend and I am honestly thrilled and proud to be able to call you my friends and family!
