It forms an exceedingly unreasonable excuse for Reginald Richardson to fail to distinguish between the developmental and advocacy roles of both local and central government institutions. I heard him questioning a prospective MP about an internal road that connects Palapye residents to a certain graveyard, a mistake he repeated yesterday when he quizzed Hon Gilbert Mangole about a certain internal road. I argue that whilst it should be done in the interest of the public to provide responses on progress of all developments in the area, it is equally important to define the role of local authorities and development plans in a political debate. On the whole he turns out to outsmart the shrinking Henry Letchuti of the noisy RB1 debates.
