It had rained profoundly that night. Water gushed through the lanes and the rattling noice of rain filled the air. The streetlights seemed to have blurred and just a hazy light illuminated the road. Not a soul was in sight but she had bigger things to worry about. She sat cross-legged in the middle of the road. The rain now hided the pain her eyes revealed. She was shocked and shattered. Tears rolled down her cheeks...and that was as feirce as the rainwater gushing around. A cool breeze blew. On other day, it would send a chill down her spine, but no, she had bigger things to worry about. A month ago, she found herself... she found her soul... she found love. He came out of nowhere. .. but took her breath away. She was no longer a quiet, contained and shy girl. He brought new dimensions to her life. He became her life. Today, it was meant to be the happiest day of her life, for she had planned the upcoming moments to be the turning point of her life. She had been so excited the entire day, but not now, she had been broken, with a bigger thing to worry about. He lay motionless in her lap. His heart had ceased to beat. The cold droplets of rain did not make him wriggle. He had left her... and with him, he had taken along her soul.. she was horrified... broken... devastated. .
