It happened. Our 3yr old Nava clearly articulated her wish to pierce her ears. Two years ago we debated whether to pierce her ears. We decided to wait until we knew she was ready and she wanted it. Its her body, her choice. The past few days she was adamant about piercing her ears. I googled babies crying ear piercing videos thinking this would dissuade her. It didnt. She understood the pain and still wanted it. Im proud of her and respect her decision. She stands for hours in front of the mirror adoring her earrings.
