It hard to share on facebook what is happening in our lives as my dads life begins to pass away. Dad has shown those here with him what it is like to die in grace. He has left us very very secure in knowing that he is at peace with all that is happening. I couldnt have imagined what a gift that this would have been if i havent been experiencing it first hand. Dad has declined rapidly since his diagnosis last Tuesday. Some moments he surprises us with his tenacity and others we wonder which minute he will be gone. Dads mind is sharp as ever even though at most times he is unable to keep his eyes open. He is always up to shooting a wink to show he is engaged in whats happening about him. I know i will say this many times over but thank you for all of you who have shared your heart with my dad either by your visits, your calls, messages, and to those of you who send your love silently. They are felt by all of us. Dad feels your intentions and his message to you all is this: dont cry for me, celebrate me. Ill see you on the other side.
